In March 2004, I traveled with a small group of friends and family through parts of Europe. It was a return trip for some but all the destinations were new to me. We hooked up with a tour in Greece but explored the other countries on our own with the help of a Eurail Pass .

Greece was particularly exciting since we were there on Greek Independence Day and everyone was preparing for the Summer Olympics .
