The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront area of Cape Town. Two harbour basins were constructed between 1860 and 1920, and the area is noted for its heritage buildings which retain the charm of Victorian industrial architecture and a harbour built for sail and the early days of steam travel. Redevelopment began in 1988 and continues today around the original Victoria and Alfred basins.
Greenmarket Square in Cape Town City Center. A produce market since 1806, the cobbled square supports a colorful daily open-air craft maket where you can bargain with the merchants.

The kids learned to bargain and became skilled negotiators of price.
